Winter Storm Watches for Northern Indiana Lake Effect Snow
Impacts from strong Northerly to Northwesterly Wind flow associated with a storm system will be pushing across the region come after Sunday some areas could see upwards of 6” of snow in the forecasted areas from either lake effect snow or system snow depending where one resides. Places on the eastern side of south bend may see 5-7” or maybe more hard to tell until the lake snow plume sets up the localized heavy band of snow some one can get under could really stack the snow up in a significant way. Other side beer Mishawaka Elkheart could see not that much maybe 1-3” so distance can make a huge difference.
