Chicago get 27th 90 of the year as of 11 AM

 Chicago has eclipsed the 90 degree mark for the 27th time this year adding to a season with totals running 2 x normal of what we typically see in a season. Plenty more 90s on tap for the week. Most places have 92-94 degrees today. I believe with the dry soils and the power of this hot air mass influenced by 2 tropical systems that we will get closer to 96 today.
