Chicago Notches Another 90 Degree Day

26th 90 of the Summer 2020 season in Chicago. Nearly now at almost 2 x the normal amount of 90s on the season as we typically see 14 in a whole year. There are going to be at least another 5 90s this week to add to the 90 degree day total and some days could be close to record high temperatures in the 7 day period. We could also flirt with the 100 degree mark in the middle of the week. This is the most # of 90s we have seen since the hot hot summer of 2012. At this point it looks like this will end up as the warmest summer on record just slightly ahead of the bench mark 1955. If we do so with out a 100 degree temperature that would make it oh so much more impressive.
