Hurricane Laura’s Storm track and cone of uncertainty. Hurricane Laura is projected to become a Major Category 3 Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. This would be the first major hurricane of the 2020 hurricane season. Major hurricanes are classified aS category 3 or higher Storm.
