A Minor Snow Event On The Way For Chicago This Afternoon and Evening

 A quick burst of snow is on the way for the Chicago Metro and Northern Illinois Region this afternoon and into this evening. If you are in the areas to the west and northwest of the main metro area you could expect the snow to commence about 2-3 hours earlier. The timing of the snow to start is based on the City Limits which is typically ohare airport which is the western most extent of the City of Chicago.
