A hot and humid morning already out there with heat index real feel temperatures in the low to mid 90s as of 830 AM. Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid to upper 90s today across the Chicago Metro Area with heat index values eclipsing the 100 degree mark. The high heat and humidity will not last much beyond today Sunday as a cold front will whisk the high humidity out of here for Monday. Lower humidity should allow temperatures to reach the mid to upper 80s tomorrow based on lingering cloud cover and depending on the amount of sunshine we can probably expect temperatures between 84-88 degrees. A good idea to always limit physical activity in such hot weather. Always drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks. Stay cool today
