Hurricane Douglas Skirts Hawaii

Hurricane Douglas is skirting the Hawaiian Islands to the north. This is not a direct hit. Direct hit refers to having the eye and eye wall make contact with the land mass. Also as it passes by the storm is encountering some unfavorable conditions and will be weakening over time in the next several days out in the central Pacific Ocean.
