Hanna’s Projected Storm Surge

Here is the expected storm surge associated with Hanna on the far North East section of coast is the Galveston / Houston area sitting on the inner most inlet of the Galveston Bay. Galveston is Famous for the Great 1900  Hurricane when between 8-12 thousand people perished when a max 12ft storm surge submerged the coast. This is mild compared to that. Storm surge projections by the Hurricane Center as shown near the Corpus Christi
