Tropical Storms and Hurricanes are known for bringing prolific rains to areas. Hurricane Hanna is no different as you see from the map the red shaded areas project 10 to as much as 15 inches of rain fall potentially the orange color is 6-10” and the yellow is 4-6” and even the dark green is 2-4” any of these copious amounts of rain can produce travel impacts especially in Mexico when you have high elevation that may trigger mudslides in those higher elevations.
