Mother Nature Forgot to Turn the Temperature Down It Is Winter Time

 As we look into the first several days and even week and a half into January we see that there is a Massive warmer than normal air pool that is in place across most of the US and for the most important part Canada as this means that there is less than the normal amount of cold air to spill down into the lower 48 as we come upon the coldest part of the year climatologically. This could be interesting as that could indicate an early and possibly very active severe storm season this spring.
